Lukoil discusses Caspian shelf deposit development with Turkmens
ASHGABAT, Oct 28 (PRIME) -- Russian oil producer Lukoil is negotiating joint projects with Turkmenistan, including possible development of shelf deposits, CEO Vagit Alekperov said on Wednesday.
"Turkmenistan and Lukoil have a long history of cooperation. We are discussing possible joint projects in various spheres, including development of the sea deposits," Alekperov said.
The official added that the company has a unique experience of work on the Caspian shelf after discovering a new oil and gas province with reserves of about 7 billion barrels of oil equivalent.
